Carmelized Onion Dip

I had a craving for dip and knew I had ingredients in the refrigerator to put together a good one. I was right! It is important to cook the onions long and slow. You do not want to let them burn at all, but reach a rich, caramel color. It is also important to refrigerate this for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors blend properly.
