LDA is an authority that is responsible for the planned development in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. In addition to the above role, the authority also regulates and issues permits in order to allow new construction and housing projects, commercial development, and private houses. The authority was established by the Punjab Legislative Assembly under the LDA Act of 1975.
