Buck Henry, who wrote The Graduate and created Get Smart, dies at 89 and stars pay tribute

The scribe was feted with two Academy Award nods in his career, for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Graduate in 1968; and Best Director in 1979 for Heaven Can Wait.
